Demonstration Dances - August 2022

We will be dancing at the Fair, the Sonoma County Fair, that is:

   • Tuesday August 9 from 12:15P to 1:45P on the Park Stage (just behind

      the Grace Pavilion)

   • Thursday August 11 from 5:45P to 6;45P on the Hill Top Stage (across from

      the Lyttle Cow Palace) and in the Parade at 5:00P, and

    • Friday August 12 from 4:45P to 6:00P (no workshop at Monroe Hall this

       at the Hill Top Stage.

Annual Picnic / BBQ / Bocce Tournament -
September 24

Again this year, our BBQ will be held at the Harkey’s house, with the party starting at 2:00 p.m. We'll hold our annual Bocce Tournament (with teams formed at the start of play), play some other games, and have dinner at about 5:30 p.m. Beginner Class members will be invited also. BBQ items are supplied by the club, but members should sign-up for other potluck items.

Cemetery Gravestones

Sebastopol Cemetery Walk - October 7

The Western Sonoma County Historical Society is hosting their annual cemetery walk in October. Elaine and Mike Von der Porten are organizing a group from our club to form a 'tour' on Friday 10/7 at 7:30 PM. The walk ends at Luther Burbank's Gold Ridge Cottage for a light dinner of soup and salad and Apple Crisp for dessert. Elaine will make a group ticket purchase if members sign up by July 14 at the General Members' meeting at Monroe Hall. Cost is $50 per person.


Halloween Pie Night - October 29

Pie Nights are held the fourth Thursday of each month after working up an appetite dancing. This year we'll have our Beginner Class students with us. Halloween costumes are encouraged, but not required. Halloween goodies will definitely be there.

Christmas Ornaments

Christmas Party - December 8

Our annual members' Christmas Party is scheduled for Thursday, December 8 at the Foxtail Golf Club, 100 Golf Course Dr, Rohnert Park. Remember to donate raffle gifts in November. Tickets will be available from Mary Ann Harkey starting in November.
